I had the pleasure of talking with Antonio of the Lunenburg County Mountain Bike association over the past weekend and there is a lot in the works for the area. Antonio is a great guy who is driven to bring great trails to the area.
There is support from the powers that be and land is being secured for some trails to be built. I see a road trip in the future!
Thanks for the kind words, but I am just a worker bee. This project wouldn’t be possible without the president and his first lady and the support from our local shops from just being a sounding board to stocking the right parts and the realization that we all need somewhere to ride (legally, and responsibly) and make a future trail system for generations. I hope this is the air of change in Nova Scotia to create more active living and make it easier to go out and ride. Some key government people are to thank as well. Wish I could name everybody but we are kind of early on the chicken counting.
