Hey, awhile ago I mentioned that the Long Lake Provincial Park
Association had warmed up to mountain biking in the park and that there
was some potential for development and upkeep of trails there. Well, if
that is something you are interested in becoming a part of, please
contact the people at www.longlakepark.ca
and attend their meetings etc. They probably need at least one person
to work as a contact/spearhead the effort, ideally this person would be
part of Bicycle Nova Scotia (on the Board of Directors or on the
Mountain Bike Committee) but this is not essential. Really, you just
need an interest and desire to be involved. That person is not me, so
have at 'er, keen person out there. Also, their facebook group https://www.facebook.com/LLPPA/?fref=ts might provide some info as well.
