I just bought a set of Magura trail sport brakes and I am wondering if I can bleed them with finish line mineral oil or if I will ruin the seals or void warranty if I don’t use magura mineral oil in them? I tried ordering magura mineral oil through Jenson USA but they couldn’t ship it across the border.

People do but with mixed reviews. I think they are slightly different weights so they feel different but close enough that they work. I wouldn’t do it unless I’m desperate with old brakes and don’t care about warranty.

While I can’t speak to the warranty and how it may effect it; I have been using mineral oil from the pharmacy in my shimano brakes for ages.
