I feel like Lance did a lot for cycling, I find it weird and sad that people now try to erase him. Wanted to get his books out from the library this spring (read them as a kid and enjoyed them) and they didn’t have any of them. Have heard many cycling related podcasts act as though he is Voldemort and refuse to even say his name. Yes he was a doper but I feel like it was a systemic problem rather than Lance being a bad guy. Sorry to derail the meme thread.

It isn’t all about the dope. The guy was an asshole who ruined other people’s lives in his effort to win at any co$t.

I agree. Not the best role model but what he has done for cancer research is formidable.
