MRWA Flat Lake Trail work - Friday, July 5th

Flat Lake is calling! Please join us Friday for a trail work session on Flat Lake Trail, 3:00 - 8:00. We will be working on the section between the rolling boardwalk and the outflow crossing. Bring your swimsuit for a refreshing dip in beautiful Flat Lake! You don’t need to attend the entire session - come when you can, for as long as you can.

We’ll meet at the “Spar” Trailhead on Mica Crescent (map) in the Governor’s Brook subdivision in Spryfield at 3:00. The hike in is about 25 minutes. Please wear sturdy shoes and work gloves and bring water. If you arrive late, take Spar all the way down to The Attic. Turn left and climb up to the ridge, following the blue paint. Turn left at the sign for Flat Lake Trail and follow it down the new switchbacks and keep going until you find us.

All are welcome, no experience necessary.

These trails are part of the McIntosh Run Trail System, an approved network of singletrack trails for non-motorized recreation on public land between Spryfield and Herring Cove.

Hope to see you out there!
