There is a plan to add a lot more singletrack, potentially doubling the current sanctioned system.
For that to happen, MRWA needs to demonstrate to landowners and potential funders that people want more trails, what types of trails, etc.
It is vital to get lots of responses, from locals AND from riders from outside Halifax. The survey branches out for non-haligonians, to capture the economic impact of trail tourism.

I should also add that the questions on bike-packing and primitive camping may influence even longer-term planning (let’s call it “Phase 3”).
