Volunteer Work Day this Sunday afternoon – 1:30-4:30pm.
We’re planning to work in the “Eight Bridges” section of the trail. This is the muddiest section of the trail in the wet seasons (although probably pretty dry right now). There is currently a “rock causeway” that needs finishing, and a muddy section that will need another “rock causeway”.
The work site is about just beyond where we worked last weekend, about a 40-minute walk into the trail, or a 20-minute bike ride. Janet and I are planning to ride our mountain bikes in. No need to bring tools. We will have tools onsite. Feel free to walk in and meet us, come late, or leave early.
