Park repair stand tweek

Big thanks to Colin at Banks Bikes from tracking down this new stand for me. We been waiting awhile for this homemade “KAFO” jig to come due to Covid.

Originally planned for ceiling mount but our 200yo building was a bit soft for that once we actually got in the attic.

Need to do a bit more drilling and grinding to add a bit more adjustability to it. Also going to add a flexible arm for my Lazer alignment kit.

Can you attach a shimano spd cleat to the bottom of this so I can stay fit while I heal?

Yah, but only if you’re OK with carbon fiber. Better strength to weight to healing ratio. Hehe

I’m still rocking that wrench force repair stand you have there, going on 15 years I think. But I’m just working on bicycles m

I pretty sure I got that from you at smith in the early/mid 2000s hehe

So better with a flat pedal then. Gotcha. I’ll steal them off of Stacy’s bike.
