Hey Everyone,
I am a director with the PMBIA and at the last board meeting I inquired about what would be needed to bring some courses to Atlantic Canada this year. Ultimately, I was told that we need some expressions of interest from people to attend, and if there is sufficient interest then the organization can schedule some courses. For economies of scale, the PMBIA would be looking to schedule 2 courses in the area in close succession. Below is a bit of information on PMBIA.
If you would like to see some courses in the area this season could you please fill out the form at the link below? If you have any questions about the courses you can e-mail the office, of feel free to contact me directly as well.
Hope to see everyone out on the trail!

Does PMBIA let instructors who have taken other programs skip levels or does one need to start at the base level?

Hey Ryan,
Probably best to e-mail the office regarding your specific certifications to see if it has any equivalency.
However, I know that NCCP coaching certifications don’t as they focus on training and fitness, not riding skills.

Hey everyone,
Bumping this post in case eyes didn’t see it originally.
The level 1 instructors course only has 3 spots remaining (out of 8) and the coaching kids course only has 1 spot remaining (out of 6). If anyone is still on the fence for either of these courses please register soon!
For the Air Instructors course we need more registrants for the course to go.
We are also considering swapping the Air Module course for a Development Day (for existing PMBIA members) or a Ride Guide course (no prior courses required). Would either of these be of interest to anyone?
Thanks!

Update:
The Level 1 Course and the originally scheduled Coaching Kids Module are now full! A waitlist has been started for the Level 1 in case someone needs to pull out of the course.
A second Coaching Kids Module was added on July 30th in place of the 2 day air module, and is open for registration.
The Level 2/3 Air Instructors course still has 4 spaces available.
Please feel free to reach out to me with any questions or you can also e-mail the office.
