Just moved back to NS and im out of the loop. I was wondering if the poker run race/event is still a thing thats happens here?

To make a short story shorter
No there is not currently a poker run event.
We do Tuesday night group rides with a beer and a bite to eat afterwards if there is an establishment nearby.

The Nine Mile Trail Association has been talking about doing a Poker Run, but may not happen this year, since we have trail construction planned, and we didn’t think it would be a good idea for both to be happening at the same time.
