My lockout on my Rockshox Recon Silver doesn’t function. Can I just remove the internals a go without. I don’t use the lockout anyway.

I’m thinking that you probably can’t. I have had similar problems with a SID remote controlled damper. If the remote needed a bleed or was leaking at all it would start to lock the fork out. I was wanting to get rid of the remote but in order to do so had to replace many of the parts in the damper side of the fork. I think if you didn’t have the lever it would stay locked out. I would price a new damper, I think that fork has a Turnkey while mine was a Motion Control damper so things might be different for you.
