Rock (and dirt) moving party this Thursday night at the Nine Mile River Trail. We have crusher dust (fine gravel) and rocks that we are going to move using a four-wheeler onto the trail for future work. We need people who can help shovel, and load, empty and carry loaded buckets. Meet in the parking lot at 6:30 and we’ll walk into the trail to our work sites. If you have a bucket for carrying crusher dust or rocks, please bring. The plan is to load buckets, then lift buckets to trailer of a four-wheeler for transport.
Very successful evening. Moved a lot of crusher dust. Used some to cover exposed drainage pipes, rockwork and boardwalk approaches. There’s still more to move so we’re hoping to do another session. Cookies turned out well too!
