posting for a friend, almost brand new straight steerer 29er fork 100mm rockshox recon.
he cracked his frame and the replacement means this forks no use to him, only 5-6 rides on it in debert/victoria park.
Just curious why he can’t use it? New frame have a longer headtube?
his old frame was a dated straight steerer type norco faze, he had two options for replacement, one was a full bike replace upon arrival of stock and another was a frame replacement to a newer bike that takes a longer travel+tapered steerer ; it would also need boost wheels so i am guessing he will have QR 29er wheels and 10spd/breakset available too if you ask)
