Rockshox reverb stealth maintanence

I’m calling upon the combined wisdom of ecmtb members in regards to the maintenance of a Stealth seat post. Has any one got one? Have you worked on one? Does anyone have the tools ( ifp hight tool, oil hight tool)? Did you bring one to one of the local shops to be serviced and if so did they do a good job? Mine has developed “the squish”, a sag when weighted. It’s not a huge problem, but it’s not right. I service my own fork but it seems this is a bit more complicated and the parts and tools are a little tricky to find all in one place. Can anyone help? Suggestions?

I’ve read the service manual, but that’s as close as I’ve come to tearing into one. I’ve done a remote bleed on a friends, but usually the post sagging it’s a problem with the IFP, or some air in the system a remote bleed won’t get. I’m pretty sure rockshox has released an updated IFP to solve some known issues with the post.
It’s a pretty involved process from the look of things, and you would definitely need to buy the right tools/service kit to be successful if you were to try it on your own.
I service my own rockshox pike, but I think I would be sending a reverb off for service somewhere.
I know Banks Bikes in wolfville has done some bleeds on posts before, but I’m not sure if they have done a complete service on a reverb. I can’t speak for any shops in the City, but one of the larger shops may have the tools and know-how to do it.

You could always ride the post for the rest of the season and send it away to a Authorized Rockshox repair center over the winter.

This one is in BC, but you can ship the post there and have it sent back to you in perfect working order again.

I ordered some of the tools, not too expensive. The rebuild kits are very expensive. It sags about an inch so I don’t feel it out on the trail much, I just know it’s not working the way it should. I might give the repair a go but send it off if things don’t work out. I like the looks of that place in B.C. It wouldn’t kill me to ride with the old post. The SID on my other bike has a remote and I’ve bled it as well as changed the hose a few times, got that down.
