Not sure where this belongs, but Seek Wilderness Accommodations is opening a patio and snack bar. Located at 825 Young Street, with Railyard access from there via Hike and Seek Trail. Brings you to the bottom of Cooked / top of Stacked.
According to their Facebook post, they plan to be licensed in the near future: Canada Parks Day- Victoria Park hike!
Worth checking out next time you’re up for a weekend ride!

I see the start location of the Wednesday night rides has changed to this trail head, with plans to visit the cafe afterward. Very cool!

Yep! There’s parking at that trailhead, access to the park via Hike & Seek Trail. Plus you get to start your ride closer to gems like Cooked and Trash Talking.
Rode there today and this looks like a cool little spot. We weren’t going to start there, but the gate to the skills park parking lot was shut. I will certainly miss the convenience of parking right at the skills park and having some fun pre and post ride.
Yeah, the gate is only open while the crew are working. Too many instances of people driving where they shouldn’t, fire risk during hot months, etc. If you park at 627 Young, it’s a short ride up to the skills park from there.
