I have a perfectly good Saint bottom bracket, except that the dust cover came out and cracked. A new dust cover is half the price of replacing the entire set :-(. Not a huge loss but I thought I would check if someone here had a worn out hollowtech bottom bracket kicking around as a spare.
If not I will just go to a local bike shop and buy whatever they have in stock with the same cover. I am sure non of the local shops have a BSA/83 saint bottom bracket in stock.
I definitely have one that you can have. I’m in the Williamswood area but happy to meet you somewhere more central.
Wow and you got it out without breaking it. I was looking at the broken parts of mine and realized it has a lip to keep it in place and figured I was out of luck on swapping the seal.
But somehow I actually found an exact replacement for my Saint BSA/83 in stock locally, they where as surprised as I was. Was not even in the online inventory, maybe the guy just remembered it was in a box of pre online sales stuff?
If that’s just in your junk pile I would still love to get it from you some time but if its a legit spare you have a use for I have a solution.

It’s not a spare for me, I had replaced a BB recently and hadn’t emptied the trash yet. Cool you found an 83mm locally. FYI I believe you can use a 68/73 if you reuse the tube between the cups from your 83.
