Buddy called me today about Kijiji ad for some old cable brake cables. He’s 50, went on disability had to sell his car, then his bike. Now he’s building a new one up from parts he can scrounge so I gave him the brakes. I said to my self “here’s lots of other stuff thats junk to me, probably treasure to him” and hucked some chain rings, bottom bracket, cables, housings etc into a bag. Hopefully it gets him well on his way.
