Both are brand new. Never installed. Came with the build kit on my new bike but I installed my own Shimano parts.

Does anyone know if GX derailleur will work with SX drivetrain or would i need a new cassette as well?

It will work. All SRAM EAGLE derailleurs are interchangeble.

I am located in the New Glasgow, NS area but I travel to Halifax every weekend.
