Three piece of blue bling that I have in my toolbox.
Most of my stuff is non-blue as that blue stuff tends to cost more green.

True, but some of that blue is definitely worth the green! I’m considering a new truing stand from Park Tools, one that will fit a fat bike. Anyone want to buy my old one?
We picked up one of the tourque drivers about a year ago. I like it, works well. No regrets.
Not that I really need one but what truing stand do you have?
I’ve always been happy with my Park tools, but non bike specific tools can be had cheaper and often the same or better quality for the money.
It looks a lot (if not exactly) like this: https://www.mec.ca/en/product/5010-661/999VE-Truing-Stand
I’d post my own pic of it, but @shadowfox70 has it at his place to do some repairs. I’d rather not pay $500 for a professional stand if I can help out, so I’m interested if you have suggestions for a less expensive one that’ll handle a full range of wheel sizes and axle types.
Could always make one, they are pretty simple devices really. The Park stands are auto centering but honestly I always shim one side of the truing caliper away and flip the wheel in the stand to maintain dish.
Motorcycle truing stands are pretty simple to copy:

Truing a fatbike tire in the living room . . . I’d be shot.
Speaking of truing stands, or lack thereof, just saw this on Seth’s Bike Hacks (jump to 1:05)
