Is anyone interested in a sub 24 hour overnighter on June 18th to coincide with the Summer Solstice? I’m planning a quick overnighter up to Rafter Lake in the Western Crown Lands (Bowater). The plan is for a short ride (10km) in during the evening to a campsite on Rafter Lake, set up camp, maybe rip a few trails before dark, then a fire and drinks before bed. The plan is to leave the Sonny’s Rd. parking lot in Tantallon around 7pm (flexible) and be back at the parking lot in the morning. The distance is short enough that you won’t need to pack much, or have bikepacking specific bags. There will be Cavicchi’s sausages.
