Train Gang Coffee and Gravel Sunday, August 31st

The woods ban has been lifted in HRM and Sunday is looking great for gravel riding. Join me at the Bike & Bean at or before 9 AM tomorrow. We’ll start with coffee and make a route plan. From there we’ll ride for a bit then circle back to the Bike & Bean for a post-ride beverage. There’s also lunch options at the Bike & Bean and Cavicchi’s next door. The trail closure has been tough on our local businesses. Let’s show them support.

Where: Meet at the Train Station Bike & Bean in Upper Tantallon at or before 9 AM for coffee followed by a gravel ride. Parking is available at the shop or in the nearby lot at Redmond’s Home Hardware.

Difficulty: This is a no-drop group ride. Our goal pace is 20 km/h. We’ll regroup at the top of all major climbs. Nobody will be left behind.

Route: To be determined by the group

Notes: A Cycling Nova Scotia membership is required. This is a self-supported group ride, please carry any water/nutrition and spares you might need to repair your bike on the ride. The club requires a bell for the SMB trail portions, and a red rear light for the road portions. Bug spray is never a bad idea.

Contact us traingangcc@gmail.com for more information.

This is not an official ECMTB ride.

Glad I read the fine print, I didn’t realize that you needed a CNS membership. At least they are good for a full year from date of purchase.
