Oh . . . I wouldn’t mind seeing that tire studding “tutorial” posted as a video. Its getting icy over here and fat bikes fall just as easy as skinnys on the ice.
Man, a fat tire loaded with studs or screws would be sick!
I’m thinking it would be a force of nature with a heck of a lot of rolling resistance. I went for a spin today and came across 2 ponds that were slick with ice. I would be careful walking them. With non studded FB tires I wouldn’t even consider it. Pretty soon its gonna get icy everywhere, so I’m gonna need some points.
