Valley Ride December 18 - Cape Split in the afternoon (CANCELLED)

UPDATE: CANCELLED! Trails too slushy and sloppy, don’t want to damage the trails. Might go to Fight and play on the rocks instead as much of the snow should already be melted out of there.

In. Can probably set up a really nice ride if Cape Split doesn’t work out, and will do some recon for sure.

Looks like kind of a wet day Sunday…

yeah looks like it, anyways im still up for any ride that day. long short messy rainy snowy sunny ride, i have to get a reason to drink my beer afterwards. let me know.

I’ll ride in anything but torrential downpour.

A little rain shouldn’t be bad, but if the trail is snow covered now then the rain and warm temperatures will likely make for a sloppy, trail destroying ride. But I’m not an expert in the area. Your thoughts, @riderx?

I’m with Jessie, keen to ride whatever wherever.

I’m going to have to bail on this one. Family commitments.

The trails will be a bit of a sloppy mess if we get what they predict. A whopper or fight trail ride would be the safest as to trail damage TBH.

I’d say stay off the trails altogether tomorrow. You’re just going to put big nasty ruts in the soft, wet snow which is then going to freeze on Monday and we’ll have trails with shitty frozen ruts. Wait till Monday night.
