Looking for a winter softshell jacket…any suggestions out there ?
Bought this five or six years ago. Never regretted it. https://www.cyclesmith.ca/product/gore-wear-c3-gore-tex-active-jacket-331107-1.htm
For N.S. weather, any Goretex shell with a smartwool layer underneath should do.
I also have a Gore cycling jacket that I love.
This is my favourite soft shell for riding https://www.gorewear.com/us/en-us/gore-c3-gore-windstopper-phantom-zip-off-jacket-100190.html?dwvar_100190_color=9908&cgid=gw_sport_cycling_jackets#prefn1=gender&prefv1=Men&start=6&cgid=gw_sport_cycling_jackets
I’ve got an INOV-8 Race Elite 150, it’s bomb. Also a Mckinley Bokin. I’ve had great success with light wind/rain jackets with a layer or two underneath, especially on longer rides, especially useful if the weather turns while you’re out.
Went with the Gore C3 Windstopper…thx for the input.
Nice! If you ever have a problem with it their warranty is awesome. I returned my first one after a year, no problems since.
