Work Day this Saturday at Nine Mile River Trails July 5. Getting out early at 9:00am to beat the heat.
We’re going to install a log bench on the Spruce Ridge Trail. We’ll need to move bench parts and tools, prep the site by clearing debris, putting dirt down, and digging the foundation, assemble the bench, and plant it. We’ll have tools.
Spruce Ridge is the newest trail at Nine Mile near the back of the trail system, so you can get a ride in and contribute to the trail at the same time. The bench site is pretty cool- sits on top of the ridge looking down on the trail and scenery below.
