Is the extra wear on the trail just from increased use because all the only trails are shut down?
Daminion was already in rough shape before the lockdown. It didn’t hold up well as the ground was thawing out in early March. The moto traffic hasn’t helped things either.
That’s too bad that the motos are back, they mess up much of the wood work?
No woodwork to worry about in Daminion.
They have ripped the chicken wire off the woodwork in Scotch/Derailleur Alley tho.
Funny how MTBers are shaming each other for riding, but as we sit here the moto guys are out happily wrecking trails.
I’d gladly shame moto guys too but they are smarter and don’t leave evidence online.
Yeah, I know, its just always bugged me how critical we are as a sport in general.
That’s funny because I distinctly remember my first time on this site was reading a post that you made criticizing an Unsanctioned trail because it wasn’t built the way you liked to ride it. Anyways what do I know. Happy trails/ sidewalks, folks
You might want to go back and read everything I said back then, I criticized the fact people were being stalked and shamed on strava, getting yelled at on the trail, etc. I did not ever criticize the trail, but I did for sure criticize certain folks in the way they were trying to influence how people used it.
My comments here are along the same lines.
Officially Spring (albeit a very odd one) so no more need for this thread.
I’m sure everyone here is itching to get in a proper ride and therefore everyone is a bit on edge with the current situation. Go watch some bike movies or find some other way to relax, let’s try and keep things civil.
