Current Trail Conditions

Rode whopper last night, it’s narrow but solid all the way out to the end of flipside. Mostly stomped downy trail runners so it’s a bit bumpy. I came back the doubletrack, that had a pass or two from a snowmobile but it was still pretty soft.

Whopper is near perfect. Get out and enjoy it before we get more snow on Monday!

The spots exposed to the sun at Wrandees are soft now.

If you have loppers bring them along

Spider lake trails have some sections packed with snowshoes, but there are many trails that don’t have any traffic if you’re looking to get out for a snowshoe.

you can walk to the road to the lake without snowshoes it is well packed.

I rode MacRun on Saturday, early, and thought the trails would be frozen and fast but the sun and frost made it more surface muddy. Looks like they will need another few weeks especially with the rain this week!

Went through the Gorge yesterday. All down trees have been removed. Most trails are still frozen with a slick muddy surface where the sun hits. Still could use a couple of weeks of drying time.

McIntosh Run trails on the granite seem to be free of ice and pretty dry with the usual wet spots.

The ATVers have moved on to destroying the BLT as well now that the association has disbanded

Highly possible thats not ATVs and being done to widen the trail for safety purposes.

There is another thread on this topic the moderators posted up. Could be useful to follow as this main trail affects A LOT of users.

The BLT hasn’t been completely abandoned… yet.

Freshly graded near the coke plant today.
