Finally back on the mountain bike since April 15th.
First ride at Nine Mile River since it opened. Starting off nice and easy to see how the ankle feels. It was okay. No stand up pedaling, just sit and spin.

Finally made it to the island! Arrived on apparently the rainiest day on record, and subsequently played hide and seek with the rain in the following days. Trails however were in great shape, drained really well! Can’t wait to go back!
Robinsons Island! Had a brief morning of Sunshine and Blue skies. Kids were stoked to show mom their teeter totter skills.
Shoutouts to On the Dock and then the Blue Mussel for the back to back North Rustico Lobster roll shootout.
Brookvale! Shortened by rain again. Kids loved Coastline. Big tree down on CTO. The dog found and rolled in something super gross near the pump track.
Shoutouts to Bits Bikes Brews for motivational cinnamon rolls and then the Lobster Barn in Victoria for Lobster Rolls with…I think Donair sauce? Strangely good.
