No question given the option I’d rather shuttle than pedal.
Didn’t race last year, but if your talking about Skyline it’s likely a no, as only the very beginning of the trail is in the race. Unless I got bad info, since the trail “Marty” was unmarked.

Are they not required to have a B Line for those types of obstacles?
There was a b line for that drop. The b line was sketchier than just hammering the drop imo
