Thanks for the shoutout @brightwhite!! Josh and I talk shocks all of the time. When I get a minute I’m going to get something posted up on ECMTB.
Its a solid service. Highly recommend for diagnosing issues with a damper.
However for basic seals/service I would use other local options.
If you ride alot, you should know how perform seal/oil changes. Its simple with the right tools.
Pro tip - use strava in hours to calculate maint intervals
Sorry guys, maybe I wasn’t clear enough.
I already sent the shock to S4, I’m just wondering if anyone has any anecdotal experience this season (end of 2020/start of 2021). I’m wondering how long before it might be back in my hands. Website says 4-6 weeks, but was hoping maybe someone on here got one back faster if it was just a rebuild with no major parts needed.
I do all my own work usually with suspension, and agree with @Enduro_Performance that basic 50 hour services can be done easily at home. I managed to do a complete damper rebuild on my DVO diamond fork, but this damper for the Deluxe shock just needs some specialized equipment I dont have access to (legally).
Who is it? No name on the page.
