Geez, good luck with that. I tried that 20 years ago, it was like polishing the brass on the Titanic. Tried working on the Scar Road awhile ago and gave up. My advice is to wait out the gov’t to get around to taking an interest in it. It might be 10 years from now but…
Just wondering if anyone’s been to spider lake this weekend, and what the conditions were like.
I would suggest it’s more like 2-5 years.
the spider has more ice with the rain on saturday we got. the main road, skull all the way out to the lollipop loop, the ribbon and the six pack are all good to ride but ever thing else has not seen enough traffic to be firm enough to ride.

I could see within 5 years have a crushed gravel path from sambro road running parallel to northwest arm drive joining onto the blt, I’m less optimistic about old coach road.
What are the conditions in the last 24 hours? I’m thinking for tomorrow evening’s ride.
Took the trials bike for a hop around town today. Was fun but to many puddles, hard to keep the brakes grabbing. Better luck next time.

Perhaps this discussion would be better in another thread.
Wrandees was super icy on Sunday but so much fun!
How are the trails? I"m thinking particularly wrandees or Spider for tomorrow eve. Should be cold weather until wednesday according to the forecast.
