Norawarren through West Pine and up to the top of Orange Jelly are almost completely clear of ice, but some spots are starting to soften up as the frost thaws. Get that Hero Dirt while you can.
River ridge commons is pretty good if you go in the morning but that could change here soon because I noticed the dirt bikers found a way in
The swampy hole at the bottom of the tech downhill on Little Bromont has been rock armoured and dressed.
Does anyone know what condition the Glenbourne jumps is in and if they need to be fixed up or not?
I was out at Nine Mile on Monday, and as you might expect, the trail was very wet and soft. Riding not recommended.
Forecast for Sunday and next week is below zero, so frozen solid Hero Dirt is coming!
Rode Bowater today. It was a mix of soft snow, soft dirt, hero dirt and the roots were slick. Overall, I’d say poor conditions that will improve with below 0 temps.
Whopper is good right now. frozen dirt, small ice patches and thin patchy snow. No need for studs. Go get it before in
rains again.
Bowater was spongy yesterday. The loam is saturated. If it stays cold it will be good though.
Anybody into spider today? Fatty conditions update?
Replicator was packed pretty good but had some wet and bare spots that will be icy. Ribbon of Love was packed pretty good. Sunset strip (I think it’s called) was not packed. I only went in so far and then turned around. There were some really soft and muddy spots.
Is it worth snowshoeing? Im heading that way shortly. Tommorrows rain is gonna wash away the snow anyway
I don’t think it’s worth it because of the rain, but snow shoeing is still a great outdoor winter activity!
Replicator was pretty icey with some muddy spots. Blue ribbon was clear. I was just on foot but worth heading theree
On another note there is a toyota key on a string hanging on the gate entering the double track if anyones missing their car key
Bowater is nearly as good as it gets. Get out tonight if you haven’t yet.
Bowater is spongy right now with saturated loam, but it should be frozen and fast in the morning if the temperature dips down as forecasted.
Just got back from mac run… orange crush and granitude have some erosion rutting and loose stuff combined with icey spots… nora warren west pine just ice
Bowater is a hero dirt party. It’ll soften up as it warms up this afternoon, but it should be good to go again Sunday morning.
