Gore was tough going early this morning but packed in nicely by lunchtime and was running well.

Is it rideable on skinnies?

How’s the snow holding up in the big city?

Disappearing quickly. 20mm of rain tonight then sunny and 8 degrees tomorrow :man_shrugging:t2:

Fat bike season 24/25 was short and intense. :joy:

Bowater isn’t frozen hard and there’s a skim of snow. Grip is good, except on wet roots and mossy rocks.

Weekend looks promising… ground should firm up nicely.

What the ice situation? Studs, no studs?

No studs as of now. That’ll probably change after the freeze.

Bowater is hero dirt conditions. There’s more snow near the lake than up on Jigsaw hill.

Currently conditions are as good as they are going to get at nine mile. The new trail is open and combined with the addition last year of Karstaway you can do 10 to 15 km or more

Bowater is a little greasy with wet roots and a skim of snow.

McIntosh is running great as of yesterday evening. Lots of hero dirt. A few bits of ice but totally rideable with skinnies.

Has anybody ridden this trail before? I was in a few k last week but I ran out of daylight. it seems to still be fairly pronounced until it hits the bluff when it becomes non existent on satellite.

Nine Mile was in really good shape yesterday - thin layer of snow over everything, a little ice here and there. Walked it, but planning to ride Saturday morning.

Anyone know how bowater is after the freeze?

We were there last night and it was fantastic! A few icy spots but the studded tires smoothed that out.

Bowater has about half an inch of fluffy snow over hard packed frozen dirt/roots with alot of intermittently spaced ice patches.

All the equipment is in to replace the bridge with no sign the labour starting.

CN8 - out
