On the Jigsaw side of Bowater everything but crooked finger is running really well. Crooked finger is heavily rutted by motos

I did MacRun on Saturday and Sunday. Saturday was primo.
Sunday was quite wet and muddy so I stayed on the Granite. I think there was a freeze thaw overnight which brought out some moisture.

Was in Mac Run today and it was super wet, way soggier than usual this time of year from my experience.

Bowater is in good shape, not wet. Its in much better shape than I am right now, holy hell that place can punish you.

Nine Mile is drying well. I think it’s good to ride. We were doing work and only went in halfway, but it was pretty dry as far as we went. Expect muddy sections as usual out by the lake. Please walk if you’re leaving ruts or at least ride the high side so the rut dams water off the trail instead of on it.

Is it an option for tent/overland camping at gore parking area? If not an option, do you have any recommendations for overnight visits?
FYI: McIntosh Run Trail closures at the Norrawarren end of the system will be happening for the next week or so to upgrade sections of Upper Westpine and In-n-Out trails. Best to enter the system elsewhere for a few days. There should be info on socials shortly.

Update from the diggers.
all of In-n-Out is back open. So you can do the Norawrren loop and easily get to Boulderramma. We wont be blocking that intersection until Monday - and I don’t expect that to be for more than a few hours.
Just West Pine is shut right now as the new surfacing needs some time to dry up. Im expecting that should reopen early next week as long as nature allows.

For anyone using the nine mile trail system the old woods road from the first lake ( Comeau )
To the second lake ( dipper ) is currently in a very soft condition. Work was done last year that requires heavy modification this year. Please do not ride thru the repairs until they have had a chance to harden up.
The rest of the trail is in good to great shape

Keppoch trails in good shape on 1st shuttle day. Chicken Cougar is being refreshed and not yet open and they’re reworking some drainage pipes all along East of Awesome.

Rode Keppoch yesterday. The refresh work continues with a fairly large trail crew out getting everything groomed. East summit climb has been refreshed in a lot of places, Chicken Cougar was still closed, and Olliebot is getting a complete machine make over.
