Finally got a chance to check this place out. What a great little system with so much potential. Feels like a mini Fitz that’s a 20 minute drive from my house. Great job, @Enduro_Performance.

Spring update.

Was in today, and was surprised how little standing water there was anywhere. Ground is still soft but should dry quickly. ATT it will remain closed to riding.

We are collectively looking at starting a standing build night and some key build days to tackle much larger projects.

Now is a great time to get involved.

If you are interested in learning how to maintain, build and take on projects feel free to email us.

Just a Friendly remember to sign into the Farm at the gate. Property managers are requesting this info for various data entries, and overall its a simple ask.

Thank you

Just to clarify, what is being used for the sign in? Is it a QR code or something?

There is a QR code at the entrance which brings the user to a zone4 sign in.

I suspect things like potential funding through HRM or councillor discretionary funds etc would be driven through making a case that it is well used. Making the case that mtb trails are a worthy investment based on usage has always been difficult as it is historically hard to get user numbers. More sign ins could mean trails!

So… We’ve reached the point where we’ve proven that this project can and will fill a desired need for viable trails in the Dartmouth portion of HRM. The small volunteer group of builders have put countless hours into making this system a reality and are happy to begin to see it flourish.

However… We are not near done. This is only the beginning of what could be a highly valued addition to our community.

The sign in process is important. It’s fairly user friendly too. Beginning of the ride, after the ride… as long as you do it, that’s all that matters.

Most importantly though, we require more volunteers for build sessions. Everyone within a trail network consistently has the same desire. More trails! We can facilitate and expedite the progress of this network if more people actually get involved.

Throughout Atlantic Canada there are countless examples of what can be achieved when the whole community comes together and commits to a project. Things happen… Trails develop. Quickly!

We’re open to everyone and anyone from the mtb community. Racers, rec riders, cycling clubs, you tubers, enduro bros… Overall, any users of said trails. Of course with the caveat of CNS membership, which is also just a way to support cycling infrastructure in NS.

As of now build nights are scheduled for Monday evenings. So come out, grab a shovel, a rake… help in whatever way possible to propel this project forward.

We hope to see both some new and familiar faces throughout this 24’ season.

Cheers.
